Now this is something wonderfully different. At the centre of this striking pendant sits a beautiful 3.27ct natural green tourmaline, cut into an unusual five-sided pentagon. Its rich forest-green colour has incredible depth, revealing brighter flashes of green as the light moves through its geometric facets. The tourmaline is framed in warm 18k yellow gold, creating a lovely contrast against the surrounding platinum setting, where 25 brilliant white diamonds form a sparkling, softly sculpted pentagonal halo. The combination of shapes, colour and contrasting metals gives this piece an almost Art Deco feel, yet the design is wonderfully contemporary. We particularly love how the gold traces the unusual shape of the tourmaline, drawing your eye into the stone, while the diamonds bring just the right amount of brilliance. Suspended from an adjustable platinum box chain, it has beautiful presence without feeling overly elaborate. A little architectural, a little unexpected and completely captivating.
