18k Yellow Gold 3.24ctw Bezel Emerald Cut Green Tourmaline Diamond Band Ring

Oh, this is such a good ring. Bold, beautifully simple and all about that incredible colour.
At the centre sits a substantial 3.00ct natural tourmaline, emerald cut to show off its wonderfully rich blue-green colour and set east-west in a smooth 18k yellow gold bezel. The combination of deep green and warm gold is particularly beautiful - striking without feeling overly polished or precious. Two emerald cut natural diamonds, approximately 0.24ctw, are burnish set into the wide gold shoulders, adding just enough crisp white sparkle without competing with the tourmaline.
And there is a lovely weight to this one - 9.39 grams of solid 18k yellow gold, with a generous 8.9mm width that gives it real presence on the hand. A modern heirloom with fabulous colour - substantial, a little unexpected and incredibly cool.
