1837-1901 Victorian jewellers were masters of their craft, and the prosperity of the era allowed them to create a great many pieces with a level of skill that has seen many survive to the present day. Flora, fauna, hearts, crescents, knots, stars, and just about any gemstone they could get their hands on…you name it, and the Victorians probably used it in their jewellery! These diverse gems show the most eclectic mix of motifs of any period.
