Vintage 14k Yellow Gold 5.33ct Marquise Sapphire Diamond Large Flower Spray Ring

This is one of those fabulous vintage rings that is completely unapologetic about taking up space.
Designed as a wonderfully dimensional flower or starburst, it brings together 17 natural sapphires, with rich blue marquise cuts radiating from a round sapphire at the centre. Scattered between them are eight bright round diamonds, adding little flashes of white light amongst all that glorious blue.
There is approximately 5.10ctw of sapphire and 0.32ctw of diamonds, all individually prong set in warm 14k yellow gold. We especially love the way the different angles and depths of the sapphires create movement - it feels almost like the flower is opening across the finger. With 5.33ctw of natural gemstones, this is wonderfully bold vintage jewellery: colourful, joyful and most definitely not made to disappear quietly into a jewellery box.
