Platinum 4.84ctw Oval Aquamarine w Step Cut Diamond Sides Classic Ring

There is something so beautiful about a really good aquamarine - and this one has colour, size and presence in abundance. At its centre is a substantial 4.50ct natural aquamarine, oval cut and wonderfully clean, with that clear, luminous blue that feels almost like looking into water. At approximately 12.3 x 10mm, it makes a beautiful statement on the hand without needing an elaborate setting around it. Instead, six rectangular step cut natural diamonds, totalling 0.34ctw, sit neatly at the shoulders. Their crisp geometry is such a lovely counterpoint to the softness of the oval aquamarine, while the platinum keeps the whole piece cool, bright and timeless. It has the feel of a classic vintage cocktail ring, but would make an equally beautiful and wonderfully individual engagement ring. A big wash of aquamarine blue, flashes of white diamond and platinum - elegant, joyful and very hard to stop looking at.
