Antique 14k Yellow Gold Aquamarine and Pearl Large Lavalier Pendant Necklace

There is something so wonderfully romantic about an antique lavalier and this one is particularly lovely. Crafted in 14k yellow gold, the beautifully open teardrop design is set with 21 old-cut natural aquamarines, each individually milgrain bezel set. Their soft blue colour is interspersed with 12 creamy white pearls, creating that delicate, almost lace-like quality so characteristic of jewellery from this era. At the centre sits an old oval-cut aquamarine, suspended amongst the pearls, while the graduating round aquamarines trace the outer frame. At almost 45mm long, it has beautiful presence without feeling heavy or overly formal. Finished on its original-style 16-inch fine gold cable chain, this is one of those antique pieces that feels just as beautiful worn today as it would have generations ago.
