This is a seriously beautiful sapphire - rich, vivid blue, beautifully shaped and flanked by a pair of diamonds that make this three-stone ring anything but traditional. At its centre sits a GIA certified 2.93ct natural Ceylon sapphire, cut into an elegant pear shape and displaying that wonderful deep, saturated blue for which Sri Lankan sapphires are so loved. But it is those extraordinary side stones that really set the design apart. Two natural diamonds have been cut into unusual modified shield step cuts, their sharp geometry framing the softer pear-shaped sapphire beautifully. Together they total an impressive 0.97ctw. Their broad, crisp facets create a completely different character from conventional pear or trillion-cut sides. Crafted entirely in solid 18k white gold, the cool metal allows that intense blue sapphire and bright white diamonds to take centre stage.
